NBA 2K27 at Paris Games Week: the M.RED PC on the Fnac stand
A Phantom Z in the game’s colours, built around a GeForce RTX 5070 and the first title in DLSS 5.

Four days at Porte de Versailles. A GeForce RTX area on the Fnac stand, and in the middle a case engraved “Ball over everything”. The machine came out of a three-way collaboration: M.RED for the case and the cooling, NVIDIA for the graphics card and DLSS 5, 2K for the game and its styling. It was built and modded in France, by Cybertek.
It did not come out of the catalogue. It was the first public showcase of DLSS 5 on an M.RED PC: NBA 2K27 is the first game to include it, and here it ran on a GeForce RTX 5070, in a case made to be looked at.

“Ball over everything”
The line is the signature of the NBA 2K27 campaign, which 2K renders in red neon. Here it is engraved in the edge of the glass, vertically, over the full height of the side panel. The LED strip running alongside lights it from below.
An engraved pattern doesn’t sit on the glass: it is inside it. Transparency stays complete, and the lighting decides what you see. The kind of detail that fits in no spec sheet.

How you dress a PC
Three techniques, three surfaces. And a fourth step that pulls it all together.
- UV printing

On the solid panels
The ink is laid down then cured with light, straight onto metal or glass. It carries the band of logos on top and the full-height player.
- Laser engraving

In the glass
The pattern is cut into the thickness rather than laid on top: "Ball over everything", the NBA 2K27 marks along the bottom and the M.RED monogram.
- Interior modding

For what you see through it
An engraved acrylic shroud over the graphics card, a court-outline plate above the memory, cables tucked away so they don't spoil the view.
- Lighting

Set to a single shade
All in red: fans, strips, pump and engravings. The Phantom Z drives its own ARGB controller, the Onyx 360 adds three fans.
NBA 2K27 is the first game in DLSS 5
This machine was running it. NVIDIA made DLSS 5 available on 1 September 2026, under the name 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, and NBA 2K27 is the first title to include it.
What it is
The final stage of rendering. DLSS 5 starts from the image the engine has just computed, with its geometry, its textures and its lighting buffers, and comes in right at the end of the graphics chain.
What it changes
Light and matter. Previous DLSS versions reconstructed pixels to gain frames; this one works on fidelity: light under the skin, through the hair, contact shadows. One frame in, one frame out, with no drift.
What you need
A GeForce RTX 50 series, desktop or laptop. In NBA 2K27, on the scanned players, the skin takes on the warmth of the spotlights without a single feature of the face changing.

Enabling it at home, in three steps
Install the GeForce Game Ready 616.64 driver or newer.
In game, open the video settings and enable DLSS Neural Rendering.
Compare mid-game by pressing F9.

Paris Games Week
The fifteenth edition, the "Playground Edition", closed its doors on 25 October after four days at Paris Expo and more than 160,000 visitors announced by the organiser. On the Fnac stand, in the GeForce RTX area with its "Game Changer" wall, one station let visitors play NBA 2K27 on an M.RED monitor.
NBA 2K27
Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, the game features Victor Wembanyama, Caitlin Clark and Derrick Rose on its covers. On the programme: a mixed City, a cinematic MyCAREER, a more in-depth MyPLAYER and the NBA 2K HQ app.
