Radiant.X: “Editor’s Choice” and 8.9 out of 10 at Pause Hardware

Published on November 27, 2023 · 3 min read

Two full-height glass panels, four 140 mm fans, room for two 420 mm radiators: Pause Hardware found “a gem” in the Radiant.X, and awards it two distinctions at once.

"Oh, what a gem!!"

That's the title Pause Hardware chose for its test. It sets the tone.

The Radiant.X picks up the panoramic case trend, but does it properly: full-height tempered glass, on the front as well as the left side, held by a thin strip of black steel, with the logo set vertically. The side glass is nearly 4 mm thick.

A 52.5 cm full tower, it takes an ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboard, a 455 mm graphics card and a 185 mm CPU cooler. Four 140 mm ARGB fans are already fitted.

The scores, one by one

Pause Hardware rates seven criteria. Here's what lies behind the best of them.

Elegant without overdoing it

Panoramic dual-glass view, vertical logo on the front, black steel band along the edges: the reviewer praises a fish tank with character, in black as well as white.

Three reservations

The review doesn't overlook what's missing, and neither do we:

  • the fan bracket to the right of the motherboard isn't removable;

  • no E-ATX motherboard support, despite the size of the case;

  • at full speed, the fans are audible — 56.1 dB(A) measured at 50 cm.

What Pause Hardware says about it

  • In short, nothing has been overlooked and the M-RED RADIAN.X stands out as much for its versatility as for its elegance.

  • The M-RED RADIANT.X is roomy! Our build fits inside without any trouble.
