Six copper heat pipes, 240 W TDP, a 120 mm fan that tops out at 30 dB(A) and not a hint of chrome: the Zephyr Dark Pro opens M.RED’s air cooling line-up.

The Zephyr Dark Pro launch film

The path of heat
From the CPU to the case air, in four steps.
The copper base captures it
A copper plate in contact with the CPU absorbs the heat as soon as it forms.
Six heat pipes move it
Six copper tubes carry it upwards, away from the socket.
The fins spread it
A stack of black aluminium fins multiplies the exchange surface.
The fan expels it
A 120 mm PWM fan with hydraulic bearing, from 700 to 1,900 rpm, pushes it into the case airflow.
Full black
No LEDs, no chrome: an understated object that blends into the build.
Fins, top plate, fan: the whole Zephyr Dark Pro is black, with only the M.RED monogram standing out at the centre of the fan. A choice that suits understated builds as well as glass-panel cases, where it leaves the light to the other components.
It covers Intel LGA1700, 1200, 115x and 20xx sockets and AMD AM4 and AM5, as well as the older AM2, AM3, FM1 and FM2.
