Hardwarecooking: the Stealth Fighter, a case that doesn’t go unnoticed

Published on June 14, 2023 · 2 min read

A nose at the front, a wing on top, a tilted motherboard and light on every side: Hardwarecooking built a PC in our boldest case. Silver medal, and an amused word of warning.

Styled like a stealth aircraft

You either love it or you don't. What you can't do is miss it.

The Stealth Fighter looks like no other case: a nose at the front, awing -shaped part on top, and a motherboard mounted at an angle in the chassis. RGB strips run down the centre of the front panel and along both side panels.

It stands 56 cm tall and 63 cm deep, and weighs 11.5 kg empty. Seven ARGB fans are already fitted — three at the front, three on top, one at the rear — with their controller and a remote.

  • An original design

    Shapes you won't find anywhere else, designed to be seen.

  • Seven fans included

    All ARGB, with controller and remote: nothing else to buy.

  • Light on three sides

    On the front and both sides, controlled from the remote.

  • Decent temperatures

    The reviewer credits the number of fans: the SSD and graphics card run as warm as in the Crystal Sea.

Why silver, and not gold

Hardwarecooking is clear: it is above all the lack of USB Type-C that keeps it from gold. Added to that:

  • no dust filters;

  • radiators limited to 240 mm, both at the front and on top;

  • only two 2.5-inch bays, and no 3.5-inch;

  • impractical cable management, with no routing openings beneath the motherboard;

  • ATX standoffs to be fitted yourself.

What Hardwarecooking says

  • In short, don't expect to go unnoticed with this on your desk.

  • We are therefore quite satisfied with the temperatures recorded; the number of fans fitted in the chassis has something to do with it.
